Biography
John Cesarone, Ph.D., P.E.
John Cesarone, Ph.D., P.E., is a Manufacturing Productivity Consultant and Senior Lecturer of Manufacturing Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He is a Senior Member of IIE and SME and a plain old Member of ASME, as well as a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
Dr. Cesarone has thirty years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including design, production, research, training, and consulting. He has worked with numerous organizations of all sizes, in the public and private sectors. He never ceases to be fascinated by how things get made.
